Eyebrow threading for £6
A little while back, SassyMoola mentioned a few new challenges we’re working on - Adah is looking for cheap eyebrow threading near Canary Wharf.
While Sassy is on the case, I wanted to share a little gem that I stumbled across in the Wimbledon area. It’s called Herbal World - and although you wouldn’t think so when strolling by this rather unassuming store on the street, they also offer Divine Beauty services…

I don’t know what exactly caught my eye as I was passing, but for some reason I got curious. My gut feeling was telling me that something good was about to be discovered here. And I wasn’t disappointed!
As I walked through the door way, I noticed a tiny little “beauty corner” quietly set up between all the boxes of healthy herbs and tea. Aha! While I know Adah is looking for a place near Canary Wharf, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to find a great threading option for you who live in the SW area. I asked about their services and was handed a list of prices.

Eyebrow threading for only £6! Now that’s a STEAL. So I took a seat and luckily only had to wait a few minutes before it was my turn to jump into the high chair to experience this thing called ‘threading’.
Oh. Wait a moment! Some people have told me threading painful (while others have told me it’s not, but you can imagine which group I chose to believe!) Was I ready for this? The euphoric feeling of finding such a cheap place began to wear off while I was waiting for the beautician to get ready. Pain is one thing - but to make matters worse, my skin is so sensitive that traditional waxing and napping usually make me look as if I’ve smeared ketchup around my brows. That’s not attractive!!
But the gentle, steady Asian background chimes in the store had a calming effect, and as my beautician gently threaded my wild eyebrows away I felt nearly no discomfort at all. I actually quite enjoyed it!
Oola Moola approved threading... no pain!
Yes, that’s me in the chair above, getting all beautiful. And best of all?
No redness. None.
I am certainly returning to this place!

I went here, on your recommendation. Got the whole face threading thing. I have to admit, it STANG a lot, especially around the edges of my cheeks, but I was so, sooo happy with the results :) Shamama is LOVELY!
